The location is superb, complete village view, food is amazing, too good hospitality, Contact person Manoj is an all rounder, he cooks really amazing food and friendly nature. overall my experience was great will love to visit again

"Amazing place with spectacular view"

The property is legit mud house and you’ll feel a rustic vibe staying in it giving you a touch of village life. The view from the room and the entire property is totally worth it. The property is a lil uphill but you’ve got 2 ways to get there. Meadows is just 15 mins away downhill. Common you’re in the mountains, you have to walk a lil extra mile that’s worth it. Loved the food, the cafe and the staff. ( Do try pahadi chicken). Imraan bhaiya was soo helpful in everything.

The board signs to the property could be made more visible for easy readability.

Had an amazing stay at The Mud Hostel – truly a home away from home! The rooms were excellent with well-thought-out interiors, and the hospitality was outstanding. Special thanks to Chef Manoj Bhaiya for serving the best food I’ve had in Himachal, and to Mohit, an incredible host, always ready to help and share great conversations. One day was way too short to fully enjoy this lovely place. I can’t wait to come back and stay longer. 10/10 for the memories!

"Experience the old world charm amidst the beautiful nature"

The property has an old world charm and offers you stunning view of the mountains . Gursharan is an amazing host who is always happy to help will help with some good suggestions for things to do in and around Shangarh. Food is delicious and every order is freshly made. The doms are clean and offer all the basic comfort requirements and is a complete value for money. Looking forward to my next stay at Mud Hostel.
