MudHostel Shangarh

The view from the room is epic. You will witness snow covered peaks right from you bed. What else you want? I guess this is only place which has the best view and receives the first ray of sunlight in the Shangarh village. The food is simply mind boggling. I still miss Butter Chicken, Dal etc. Yes they have a vast menu. Last but not the least the host is very friendly and helpful. You will feel that you have already been there many times.

Toilet is on the ground floor so you have to come down and walk off 8-10 stairs to go to the toilet. The approach to the place is bit rough so there is a small plain trek, I say about 100-150 mtrs. The view and rates of per bed is so affordable that it compensates everything.

The Host, Food, Cook, Neighbourhood, Surroundings, Dorms, Hospitality, Cleanliness, THE VIEW as the name says 'MUD HOSTEL - A PLACE WITH A VIEW' and the Property itself which is well and uniquely built wooden and mud structure was altogether a rich experience. They are the best at Shangarh in my opinion as their vision says 'EXPERIENCE OVER BUSINESS' and we felt that in totality. The Host Gurucharan sir is the most humble host who also cooks delicious food for you along with the cook Manoj bhaiya and Beenu didi. They won our hearts by making these three days a worthwhile experience at Mud Hostel. Thankyou team for letting us create such memories for lifetime. We will be coming back for sure. 🙋

If you're looking for a place to stay that has it all, look no further than this hostel. From the moment I arrived, I knew I had made the right choice. The host Mr. Gursharan was simply awesome, going above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. One of the highlights of my stay was the great cafe located on the property. The tea was fantastic, and the atmosphere was perfect for lounging and taking in the surroundings. Speaking of surroundings, the view from the property was simply amazing. I spent hours just gazing out at the stunning scenery and taking in the natural beauty. And let's not forget about the food! The meals were simply amazing. From breakfast to dinner, every dish was expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. The hostel's chef Manoj bhaiya truly knows his craft and is a master at creating meals that are both satisfying and full of flavor. All in all, I cannot recommend this hostel highly enough. With awesome hosts, a great cafe, amazing food, and a stunning view, it's the perfect place to stay whether you're traveling alone or with friends. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
