Hostel Galeria 13

Le Galeria 13 est très bien placé au centre du Pelourinho pour le tourisme. Le petit déjeuner est copieux, les chambres triples sont spacieuses, le patron envoie tous les jours des infos de balades, de fêtes, de restaurants, c'est vraiment super agréable. Je recommande vivement cet endroit.

Happy Hour com capipirinha e café da manhã

Everything was great ! The location is very close to the historical center. The room was very comfy. The best part being the breakfast and the warm welcome from the staff. (And of course, the free and delicious caipi.)

I booked one night at Galeria13 and ended up staying a week. Paulo, the owner, has turned it into a gem of old-world hospitality, where he takes time to talk to guests and understand their needs and interests. In reception Camilla does a sterling job of informing guests about evening activities or eateries (every hostel needs a Camilla!). The dormitory is exceptionally clean for a hostel, as are the private bathrooms. It's the kind of place where the (delectable) breakfast includes home-made items and there is an hour of free caipirinha in which to socialise. I've been in many impersonal hostels where things are rushed and guests are treated like a nuisance: I got over them at Galeria13. I mean, even the cleaning staff are lovely! If I had had to live in a hostel in Brazil, this would be it.

- Petit déjeuner copieux et agréable. - Gentillesse et disponibilité du personnel. - Emplacement idéal, en plein cœur du Pelourinho. - Bel espace extérieur pour se détendre. - Happy hour convivial de 17h15 à 18h15 (caipirinha offerte). - Groupe WhatsApp de l’auberge très utile (conseils et recommandations pour visites, restaurants, bars et soirées).

- Tranquillité : pas de rideaux aux lits, et il faut attendre après 22h pour qu’une personne de l’auberge passe fermer les volets et fenêtres du dortoir, activer la climatisation et fermer la porte, ce qui peut déranger ceux qui se couchent plus tôt. - Chambres : lits très rapprochés, donc peu d’espace disponible pour les sacs. - Casiers : petits, en bois et assez vétustes – ils permettent à peine de ranger un petit sac à dos. - Cuisine : semble réservée uniquement au personnel (sauf erreur de ma part), ce qui limite les options pour les voyageurs souhaitant préparer leurs repas.
