Rich & Poor Hostel Albufeira

Great location, lovely and clean.

Although the location is superb, it was very noisy outside with a constant stream of people passing. No where to leave bags before check in.

Really friendly owner. Room was spacious, really nice and clean bathrooms, kitchen well equipped. Overall great location and stay.

The facilities were nice (and we ended up being the only ones in the room). Staff also had some great recommendations for places to eat, and the location was very central to town.

Got pretty noisy outside at night. Not the fault of the hostel, but if you're a light sleeper you may want a location further out of town.

Fatima was really nice and we felt very welcomed. Also The dorms only for females was good to feel comfortable. The Cafe under the Hostel was nice as well and that we could leave our luggage there after the checkout.

It was too hot and there was only one fan. The noise was so loud that you couldn’t sleep. It may have been in a decent location but the noise made it so bad.

Super good location close the main town and the cafe had delicious food

There was only 2 fans in the room for 8 beds. Was super hot for summer time. The receptionist was quite intimidating. The showers were a little dirty

The rooms were empty but they didn’t let me stay with my friends, we didn’t have where to charge our phones next to the bed, only one fan and no AC, for me the desposit was a bit too much, I ve never spent 120 euros as a deposit on a hostel let along a bad one like this, they told us they offer no breakfast but they did and Fatima was so rude to us and unwelcoming, she gave us a long list of things that would make us lose our deposit and she would literally walk into rooms to check what’s going on, I ve never seen that before
