House on the Hill

I liked being able to walk to the Waterfront in 15 minutes. It was great to have Woolworth and a Delicatessant nearby. My bed was very comfortable. Deon kindly changed my pick up point for the Intercape bus.

The decor in the whole guesthouse was tired and shabby. Deon had a very laid back approach to welcoming guests. I had to ask how to put the bedside light on, how to use the kettle and how to open the safe which was locked.

Great location near the V&A waterfront. The room was clean and spacious, nothing fancy but great value for money.

Limited on street parking so its a bit of a lottery if you get something or not but that is common for the area

Very safe and central to what we wanted to do

The location was perfect for our purpose - close to Arts Cape Theatre, the Waterfront and visa application office. The room was comfortable despite the bathroom being really compact. It took us back to our student days 😄

The room was dark - a stronger light bulb would have done the trick.
