Húsavík Green Hostel

We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen en de eigenaresse wilde zelfs een was voor ons draaien.

Het is denk ik goed te vermelden dat de keuken en gemeenschappelijke ruimte zich op de 1ste verdieping bevinden. Dat was voor mij lastig en zal voor sommigen ondoenlijk zijn.

Calme, charme, propreté.

Pas de serviette de bain, mais c'est un détail.

Accommodation 5/9 on an 11 day trip around Iceland (the only place we stayed for two nights; everywhere else was for 1 night). Good pre-arrival comms, and the best personal greeting, with an accommodation tour and local briefing during our trip; thank you Dorota. Comfortable room, and good shared bathroom. Superb location right in the middle of Húsavík, with easy access to the harbour area. Good kitchen/dining facilities/space (although we ate out both nights). As the name implies, this place has a great environmental/sustainability ethos.

If you're staying on the top floor, and as clumsy as me, mind your head on the ceiling as you go up the stairs '-).

Nettes Hostel in guter ruhiger Lage. Sehr sauber. Angenehmes Ambiente.

Gleich beim Empfang die Aufforderung die Schuhe auszuziehen ohne entsprechende Alternative anzubieten hat uns etwas befremdet. Hausschuhe nehme ich für gewöhnlich nicht mit in den Urlaub. Man lernt immer dazu.

Das Haus ist super gepflegt und alles ist wirklich sehr sauber, egal ob Bettwäsche, Badezimmer oder auch die Gemeinschaftsküche
