No clean water provided. cobwebs in my corner of room, hair on toilet seat. No air conditioning in hot room so opening my patio door I had a giant flying roach come in! GROSS! bed could be more comfy. Hot room. Nowhere except bed to organize clothes on a flat surface. A small table would be great and a chair & maybe patio furniture. Trash bin could not be found in kitchen. 16-26 mins walk to town

The airport pick up with flower ei was a pleasant surprise as was the decorative display on the bed and how handy the hostal was to town. The garden is lovely but we only found out after asking permission that we also had access to the rotunda near the cabanas.

The gas was turned off so we could not cook and had to eat out after having shopped for food. The kitchen is poorly stocked and didnt even have a decent spatula nor a toaster. The shower water was also on gas and NOT heated even after a new gas bottle was in place. Then we nearly missed our flight back to Chile because our host Marcelo had left the island after assuring us that he would pick us up by noon to the airport on time. The kitchen utensils are very basic and the toilet handle was falling off. We were only given 1 roll of toilet paper for 2 people over 4 nights. The t.v. in the lounge only shows tv snow. We ended up buying a gallon of water because the water tastes so bad.These are all simple things that could have made a difference in our enjoyment of the hostal.

Marcelo is a wonderful host. Kind, helpful, and incredibly generous. Rooms are spacious, have all the amenities, and are very close to town. Definitely recommend.

I like the stuff the location and the nature around. amazing place close to the center. Marcelo gave us the feeling of home and we felt like part of his family . Highly recommend this place

Very welcoming and helpful staff once arrived to Rapa Nui. However, not always responsive to messages via Booking.com

- No wifi (at all) in the room and kitchen/dinning area. - They charge an additional fee, for using the credit card. No other place did that during my stay on Easter Island.
