MANGAMEL Hostel Pousada

Cosy hostel, comfortable rooms, staff were so helpful, close to town but not so close that it is loud at night, really peaceful and clean :)

Cute design of the rooms, staff speaks English.

Bathrooms and kitchen need an update. Also, be aware, they charge 30R per person to use any of the facilities in the common areas after checkout. I find that to be uncommon for hostels. We ended up showering at our tour agency for free..

Absolutely loved this hostel, Barbara was so helpful and gave us all the information we needed ahead of our stay. They have free coffee in the mornings, and you can refill water too. We had the double room, and it was really comfy with a beautiful view. Loved the location of the hostel too, and the garden where we met so many other backpackers. A truly wonderful hostel.

The host was incredibly nice and we felt very welcomed. We arrived very early in the morning and since our room was already ready she made sure we had all the information for an early self-check-in

The doors to our private bathroom could have been proper ones :)
