Design Ashram

It's in front of the Beach and near the Railway Station. The Staff is very kind and helpful. It has spaces for working and a little kitchen that can be used by guests. They provide purified drinking water that can be refilled in the kitchen. Dormitory with AC and fans. The beautiful House Ashram has been restored by a group of Architects and it has modern facilities in a stylish old building. They respected the original materials, the environment, it's beautiful old plants, ceilings and floors. It's an oasis of peace in a very busy Town.

This is a very unique hostel as it is located within a cool building run by architects. During my stay they had an art exhibition on also. The host / manager was very helpful. The dorm was comfy and clean!

I found it a little pricey considering it is a 12 man dorm.

The rustic architecture and artistic vibe is one to go for this place. The host we’re really welcoming and helpful.

Hospitality goes a long way

There is so much to like about Design Ashram. The folksy ambience, location by the beach, wonderful company, beautiful violin music (if you're lucky), cozy coworking space and piping hot morning tea!

Wish I had more time to spend on the books and workshops at Design ashram.

Good location, good staff, great area outside, little kitchen, water, and close to the beach

Big dorm, not the best for a good night of sleep
