Cebu Pungko-pungko Hostel

Superb, very attentive staff. Plenty bathrooms. Good enough internet. Block and a half from center of town. Less than a few minutes walk to supermarket, stores, restos, ukay-ukay, public transportations to all directions.

Very easy check-in, super friendly staff and nice to have possibility to make own coffee/tea. There is also a microwave and toaster, wifi worked excellent in common area. For 1 night ok.

You have to walk next to a very smelly restaurant, the odor was intens and not pleasant. You smell it in the common area as well. I got a room at the back, and there was a constant sound of water flowing through sewage, really loud! Also very loud AC and not a clean smell in the room.

Staff really good, cleaning shared bathrooms all the time too. Air con was good.

Location is a bit random behind a fried meat restaurant, so the smells was a bit off.
