Best Hostel

Everything was fine. The owner was very Kind. The room was simple but spacious. I defintely would come Back Here!

I loved the peaceful garden restaurant and the wonderful staff. Everyone here are so kind and helpful, it felt like home.

I liked everything about the property.

This is a great accommodation option for the price - getting separate individual rooms for me and my Mom didn’t hurt our budget, and we could have rest from each other during our dynamic travels. Quiet, not crowded. The location is great, you can easily reach Thamel on foot, shops and gym are nearby. The airport is not far either. There is an opportunity to leave your baggage at the hostel in case you’re going to another city for several days (we did it twice). There is a cafe with nice prices, big meals,REAL coffee, free drinking water, a kettle and microwave to use and a refrigerator to keep your own food if needed. And the most important thing is that the staff and owners are great people that are always ready to help you and show individual approach. There is a Buddhist spirit about this simple but very friendly place. For me, this is a place to come back! :) Note: Everywhere in Nepal we had issues with hot water, including the Best Hostel. If you want to make the bathroom experience here most comfortable, tell Sunny or helpers a bit in advance that you’re going to take shower and they will do their best to provide enough hot water for that. Sunny is an amazing host, one of the best I have ever had. He is always there to help out and suggests the easiest ways to travel around the city. The hostel itself is very nicely located, away from the chaos of Thamel, but walking distance anyway. I loved the room (and the terrace). The restaurant is cozy and comfortable, and they serve a mean buff burger! :) Overall, a great experience. It was beautiful to meet Sunny and this experience filled my heart.

If you're looking to be among the people, this is the place. If you're looking for just comfort, maybe not.
