Birds Nest Hostel

A very charming place at the outskirts of Thamel. Very beautiful view stretching all the way from the Monkey Temple and the surrounding valley of Kathmandu. Also Sonny was such a kind and helpful person working there.

Sunny was very helpful and friendly - in fact all the staff were amazing. Slightly out of the bustle but great location and very quiet. Food was also really good. I highly recommend this place.

Comfortable room and a lot of nice spaces to hang out and meet other people. The staff (especially Sunny) is really nice and go out of their way to make sure your stay is as good as possible.

Really nice community vibe here for travellers to meet one another, with relaxing surroundings, only a short walk to the main streets in Thamel. The restaurant here is also really good and well priced! Staff are great especially the manager Sunny. They can also help to arrange everything for your trekking plans including leaving your luggage there if needed. There is also great views from the roof top. Can’t beat the value for money here! Bathrooms could be better, but are clean and standard for Nepal so can’t complain! Mosquito nets would also be a good addition.

This hostel is really chill and relaxing. The beds are really nice too. If you want a place to chill and close to Thamel it's the place to go.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Located away from the noise but close to the city

No hot water in my shower.
