Trang An Freedom Hood

This placed is staffed by the owners, with all the advantages you would expect from this: great, friendly, attentive service, excellent information about local things to do, and on site bonuses like scooter hire. Staff will even fill your scooter with fuel before you venture out. Breakfast, included, was simple but tasty, and arrived quickly each morning: some days we barely had enough time for a game of Qwirkle. Freedomhood is a short walk from the restaurant where we had one of our best meals in Vietnam: search for ‘Van Nam Restaurant Food and Drink’. The fried noodles were superb - but that’s another review!

This is minor, but I’m adding it to prove this isn’t just some AI generated junk: There is a bit of noise from the busy main road nearby. We didn’t notice this when we were inside our room, and it didn’t disturb our sleep at all, and the upside was it encouraged us to get out and about for morning walks. It’s really fun exploring the dirt roads that weave between the stone hills and ponds, and there are some great restaurants just around the corner.

Initially I booked three days at Trang An Freedom Hood but then extended it to one week. The place is very close to nature, which I loved. It's very quiet but don't expect complete silence as the big road is pretty near and you can hear the cars when you chill in the garden. The staff is very kind and helpful. The bed very comfy too and the room was clean. The breakfast is very tasty and fulfilling (they provide a few options like omelette, pho or pancakes with a drink, fruits and yoghurt). They have lunch and dinner options which you can buy from the menu. Taste wise maybe it's not the best food you will have in Vietnam but it's decent and the portions are quite fulfilling for what you pay, so I was happy to eat there quite a few times. They also provide for fee city bikes. They are not the best ones but for going around they are quite convenient, as the distances are quite long (if you want to see Ninh Binh area walking around is really not an option). Overall I had a great experience at Trang An Freedom Hood and I recommend this place.

The place is a bit far from the central areas, so at night you definitely need to take a taxi if you want to go anywhere.

Bardzo mili ludzie, wygodne łóżka, fajne pokoje, wyposażone bardzo dobrze, właściciele mega pomocni, zorganizowali nam transfer do innego miejsca z przesiadką i różnymi przewodnikami, gotują bardzo dobre jedzenie

Super goede service! Tegen betaling konden we eerder inchecken. Omdat we het zo fijn vonden twee avonden bij geboekt en ook dat ging zonder gedoe. Echt top!

Das Essen war super lecker und alle waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es war wunderschön dort.
