Old Radio hostel

I had the private room with private bath and it was excellent. The staff was so kind and friendly, the location was perfect, the courtyard was very relaxing, and the breakfast was great. Best place I stayed in Uzbekistan!

Nice staff and pleasant courtyard to sit in. Decent breakfast and good location.

I wasn't a big fan of the room, it was a bit dark and relatively small for the number of beds but was fine.

Der Hostel Betreiber ist sehr aufmerksam und steht für alle Probleme und Fragen zu Verfügung. Gibt Auskunft über Ausflüge und hilft beim Weitertransport. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und besteht aus Omelett und Gemüse, Pancakes mit Marmelade und frisches Obst. Das Hostel ist sehr zentral und man kann alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß erreichen. Für mehr Tage in Samarkand gibt es eine Auswahl an Touren die man im Hostel buchen kann. Von Kochkurs über Tadschikistan 7 Seen Tour.

Nur als Anmerkung: Das achter Zimmer hat nur ein Bad mit Toilette, das kann manchmal zu Warteschlangen führen.

The staff was incredibly kind and went above and beyond. I arrived quite late at night and the yandex dropped me off in the alley behind the hostel. Neither of us could figure out where the hostel was, but the owner answered my call immediately and came and found me. He was also incredibly helpful in providing information about the city, and in helping me figure out the best way to cross the border.

The top bunk was very, very high! And just know that yandex will drop/pick you up on the alley behind the hostel and you will have to walk a little to find the entrance. I wish that part had been more clear!
