Great room and nice staff

I have booked a Deluxe King room on this property around 5 months in advace, with a full payment. As we arrived, we were facing a bad surprise there. They have informed us that there was no room available. After showing them my confirmation, they did eventually apologize because they did reserve this room for two customers at the same time. Without hesitating, they were willing to refund my payment in full, because the other customer booked two rooms. So it made totally sense for them to kick me out and left me at 5pm to searh for a new place to stay that night.

The detail and decoration of our room was lovely, really nice relaxed atmosphere.

Everything was great

The place is really beautiful, it has so many spots in the common areas, it is really lovely. It's very clean also. They also let me dry my clothes outside.

It is absolutely full of mosquitoes and they do not take any measures. I said the room is full of mosquitoes and they said to use mosquito repellent on myself. I asked for some room mosquito spray and they gave me air freshener and said that this works. Obviously it did not. I have catched so many mosquitoes in that two nights I spent there and they still kept appearing and buzzing near my ears... The air conditioner had a bad smell. I have asked if I can check out late, as my train was at 7pm for 10 hours and it would have been nice to be able to rest inside until I left. I said I can pay for that hours and they said no. This made no sense to me, as the hostel was empty while I was there, I've seen maybe two more guests there. I've lost one of my earrings and I think it happened inside the hostel. When I asked the evening lady about it, I got the feeling she knew what I was talking about but acted like they didn't find it. It's a shame, because the place has lots of potential.
