Very friendly staff....good location....

We were in a room next to reception and from where everyone was walking past.....a bad smell of toilet and mould....

En general me gustó todo, el hostal me pareció diferente a otros en los que he estado ya que está dividido como en "sub casas" donde puedes hacer vida comunitaria con tus roomies en la cocina y el balcón. Además, está en una zona más local y menos turística, lo que te permite conocer una parte más de la isla.

Los precios del desayuno y de las cenas me parecieron bastante caros.

The location was good being away from the party zone. The kitchen was handy and allowed you to do most things. Plenty of collectivos on the main road 2 mins away. Food options within walking distance and some beach too. Plenty of outside space.

"Amazing hostel! Would recommend 10/10! (And I don’t normally leave reviews)"

It seems very unassuming when you drive up, but once you’re thru the gate, it feels like home away from home. Every thing is clean, it’s a nice quiet spot to come back to at the end of the day. 10 min ride to west end, 20-30 mins to ferry/airport. Originally stayed for one night as I didn’t make it in time to take ferry to Utila the day I landed but I liked it so much that when I came back to Roatan the next week, I booked 2 more nights here! Mel (owner) has a wheel you spin and 10% of what you pay is donated to the place that you land on (woman’s health clinic, animal care etc). I thought that was really cool!

I honestly don’t have anything negative to say! Keep it up guys!

So glad I chose to stay here. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Such a relaxing vibe, just far enough away from the busy tourist area. Pool area and outdoor spaces are beautiful and well kept. Staff was very helpful in finding nearby activities and arranging outings. Will definitely return. One of my favorite hostels.
