Sisifou Hostel

The location was closed to the beach with a one or two minutes walk, and a ten minutes walk from the Korinthos bus stop. The hot water in the bathroom was good.

There were no keys provided for the lockers so my personal belongings were nowhere to place. The bathroom was really mouldy. The plug sockets were way too high to reach and a long cable is really recommended. The other travellers left their dirty plates with unfinished foods in the common area for days. The door code was provided in the very last minute only when I requested for it in which it should have been provided before I arrived so I had to wait for sometimes with my backpacks outdoor to get in. In addition, the door code was convenient but also seemed unsafe as I saw the others entering the premises without bookings and the door code was not changed from time to time so basically anyone could enter. The ladders of the bunk bed seemed sketchy and were making lots of sounds. Overall, for solo female traveller, it might not be the best choice but it could be of a nice budget place to stay.

Nice One- or Two-Room-Hostel only five walking minutes from the Sea. Good situated in the city with perfect chance to get whatever you need by just a short walk.Uncomplicated coming and going by door-code.

Contakt with the owner not possible, so no clear view who he is. An old man tried to get in, when I left, but had no code. One of the toilets has no seat, light does not work. Kitchen has only two forks. Sleeping-Room with no window, climate-machine switched too cold - so the first two beds run a good risk to catch a cold overnight. Lockers have no keys - so they are only cupboards.

I really liked the code system, so you don't have to carry around a key. The Hostel is nearby the beach and in a quiet street. I loved the community kitchen-living-room area. It's a pretty good place to stay and to wash your laundry for free!

Not all of the lockers had a key and there is not enough space to dry your laundry or towels.

No breakfast included

I ordered three beds, only two bedding was prepared. We have to wait for someone to come and bring the last bedding. Very noisy at night, guests sitting in front room for long time ( nearly till morning) Bad lighting in toilet. No mop for drying floor in bathroom after shower 😢😢
