Wifi not working

Big room, big (well equipped) kitchen with even free cafe or tea. Clean wc, shower. Parking in the garage. "Center" is one minute walk, few restaurants.

When I arrived ( a few minutes before 20.00), there were no one at the reception, and maybe I was lame/fool but the doors looked all the same and it was hard to find the ROOMS UPSTAIRS behind a huge door (there is a 2nd floor too). A huge arrow on papers showing where the rooms are would be a nice add. ;)

The hostess, Eli, is the sweetest lady. She lives in the hostel, so she's easily reachable. Eli is also excited to meet new people from around the world. She made time to take me to local festivities and snowshoeing, served me homemade sweets, and introduced me to the locals. It was true hospitality and kindness. I got upgraded to the suite room but got to see the full hostel. It is clean and new. I particularly liked the heated floors in my room. The suite had a washer and dishwasher, too. The folks in the town were super friendly. The hostel is right next to the bus stop, which was very convenient when arriving from Vienna. The bus dropped me off right at the hostel. The town is surrounded by mountains and scenic views. You'll see the river Drava, and a smaller one a bit farther away. The town is not at a high altitude, so there isn't a lot of snow or clouds. But you'll find that up in the mountains, a short drive away. There were a few days when a light jacket was enough to walk around town, in December. There is wifi in the hostel and at the cafe right across the road from the hostel. Everything is within walking distance... the grocery store, a small park, restaurants, cafes, ATM, etc.

I was happy with everything. But you do have to appreciate the small town life to enjoy it.

For a very good price I got a complete apartment with bedroom, my own kitchen, my own bathroom and a separate toilet. Fridge, washing machine, it was all there. Reception was friendly, bed was comfortable. There is a supermarket next door where you can buy your breakfast, on working days or the day before.

Guests must be aware that some parts of this hostel are used by tourists and travelers, others are used as cheap accommodation by laborers.

Great value place. The host is very kind and responsive. There was even complimentary mineral water in the fridge and coffee for the morning. Great value for money!

Too few electric plugs in the room.
