CoffeeBunk Hostel

Came back and stayed here again before going home for christmas. Let the rating speak. They even let me stay a few extra hours since my flight was in the evening, with a reasonable price. Thank you so much coffeebunk and see you next year, maybe!

Accueil très sympathique. Bonne réactivité via WhatsApp. Pratique pour une nuit pas loin de l'aéroport (à moins de 30 minutes en taxi/vtc). Chambre agréable et calme avec TV avec Netflix, salle de bain propre, matelas confortables. Eau à disposition. Quartier pratique pour restaurants et massage pas chers, quartier historique chinois accessible à 10 minutes avec boutiques (bon plan pour acheter des souvenirs à un bon prix !) et maison traditionnelles (et un très beau temple chinois). Excellent rapport qualité prix.

The owner is very kind and speaks excellent English. Downstairs there is a stylish café offering specialty coffee and food. Portions are on the smaller side, but everything is very tasty. The location close to the airport is convenient, making it a good option for a short stay before a flight. The low price is also a plus. Unlimited drinking water is provided. The accommodation itself is very basic. The private room has mattresses on the floor and the bed linens were stained. Towels are available only for an extra fee. There is also significant noise from the very busy road right in front of the building. Earplugs are provided for free and yes, very much neede! All of this would still be acceptable for a simple budget stay - but the bathroom was honestly unacceptable. The external AC unit is installed inside, making it extremely hot and humid. The shower floor is covered with loose stones, which makes proper cleaning impossible - there was dirt between the stones, and even a cockroach came out from underneath. The café has a lovely atmosphere, but the accommodation would definitely benefit from improvements.

Had a comfortable stay here for 1 night layover, Dany was a great host. I enjoyed visiting the night market nearby where you get to see a slice of local life. The dorm room is quite basic but great for the price, and bathroom facilities were clean.

Property so clean, Danny was so awesome to help. He also give me Train card so I can use to travel in train and returned when checking out. This is my first time in Indonesia 🇮🇩 I would love to come again. Coffeebunk is best for budget friendly ❤️ Food also so delicious and best in price 🥰
