Ledgowan Bunkhouse

The Bunkhouse was exactly what it says and did exactly what we needed for the one day stop over. Value for money. Next to the bunkhouse on the property was a manor house with excellent food and drink. I would definitely stay there again.

It has everything as it is self contained, in a great location with excellent staff.

Minor issues were the plug in my sink wouldn't stay in and the bathroom lock took some getting used to. I did work it out in the end.

For what it cost it was more than adequate

Couldn’t lock the bathroom door but hey that’s the person who has to look at me problem isn’t it

The location for stopover roughly midway between Gairloch and Inverness

Bedding not provided but you can buy a sleeping bag- which as a cyclist I had to leave behind. A friendly reception at the hotel

Staff was fantastic and always available when needed. Food was great too.

The bunkhouse was a bit dated but looks like they are building new facilities.

Simple but very clean, very nice staff, we could use everything from the lodge nearby including breakfast.

The outer appearance of the bunkhouse is shabby but inside is fine.
