Central Backpackers Hostel - Phong Nha

the built in locks that need a fob on the lockers in the room are awesome (apart from being loud). the dorms were nice and spacious and i liked the little shelf in the bed itself. the staff are also so incredibly lovely and helpful. cheap motorbike hire!

unfortunately the people they use for laundry ruined one of my favourite shirts :( they were incredibly sorry about it and did all the right things to try and amends the situation but the advice they gave me is to seperate your whites because they’ll be thrown in with everyone else’s washing (not just your own that you think is safe to wash with!), and i wish i knew that info before!

The bungalows out back were quiet and great for us as an older couple. We enjoyed the free draft beer from 7-8pm and thought that breakfast was very good. Convenient location for pick up by bus in the morning. Food was tasty and well priced.

Just be prepared to lift your luggage up and down some stairs to get to the bungalows.

Fantastic hostel, we stayed in the separate cottages and they were really good, the staff we amazing, especially Nhu who check us in and cooked the breakfast, thanks very much for making the stay special. Met some wonderful people there in the very sociable evening where the staff do some good events, Lovely stay

Nothing, its great

The rooms were well maintained, comfy bed, nice pool area. The staff were incredible, they helped with anything you needed and even knew people by name. They even helped me and bought water and electrolytes when I was feeling ill. Thank you so much

I was staying in the bungalow and everything was so great. The shower, the bed and location. Even a free bbq diner at 1900. Wish every bed and stay in Vietnam is like this.
