Sailomyen Hostel

We stayed one night and it was all we needed. A decent sized room with a comfortable bed. The cafe out the front was also very nice and reasonably priced! Walking distance to the Victory monument.

It might have been nicer if there was more storage by the bedside, but it wasn’t a huge deal for us.

Is a nice property but I choose a private room twins beds

The twin beds rooms doesn’t have a door for the bathroom just curtains and it was very awkward to go to the bathroom

The lockers weren't the size as other hostel and the rooms were a bit small.

Beautiful cafe, chill vibes, nice food. The staffs were helpful and nice. There you can do money exchange of Baht to Kip and vice versa. I will stay there again if I go Vientiane's next time.

Lively cafe space & good air-conditioning.

The hostel is also a cafe, there is minimal seating & no communal space. There's an outdoor area available, but it's humid & dark. The bathroom stalls are too small to sit in & your knees hit the door. The showers don't have any place to put your belongings. The room's layout was squishy, there was no trash bin in the bedroom, no shelves or space to place your belongings, & no light source or openable window since it faced the building next door's wall. There are lockers, but they're school style lockers so you can't fit belonging inside. The room's AC dropped water inside the locker, making whatever belonging we could fit inside wet & it ruined/waterlogged my Sony camera 😭
