Bad bed, pillows and mattress are hard. Staff not friendly. Shuttle bus to the airport only a few hours per day, we had to book a taxi to the airport. No remote for the air conditioner. Weird plug placements. You can hear other rooms.

Big kitchen, waffles at breakfast (which won’t be filled 10 mins before breakfast ends), swimmingpool (which is not clean at all).

We arrived late at the hostel only to find our 7 bedroom in complete chaos. Two working holiday visa girls were using all 10 (!) lockers as their personal wardrobes, with zero consideration for short-term guests arriving. At reception, we were given two keys: one that didn’t exist and another for a locker that was already completely full of someone else’s belongings. The receptionist even admitted that the whole key/locker situation was “a complete mess.” If that is known, why has it still not been resolved? When we directly asked for the lockers to be cleared, the German lady claimed she had a master key and therefore could use all of them. The fact that a staff member has and abuses a master key is extremely concerning. Her belongings were spread across a clean bed, she controlled the air conditioning and even hid the remote to decide the room conditions herself. How could staff be in this position to do so? It is completely unacceptable that this lady named Sophie is allowed to dominate the room, misuse a master key, occupy all lockers and dictate the environment while other guests are dismissed. Other guests seemed conflict-avoidant, which only enables this behavior. We also were met with judgmental looks from two receptionists who clearly knew about the situation. This is beyond disproportionate and seriously unprofessional.

Large space for cooking and hanging out, well equiped kitchen for a long or short stay, value for money, outdoors had additional seating and tables. Small but clean pool to enjoy. Parking space was accessible through a back gate. Female only room 3 bunks, ensuite in room. A/C on between 4-6 in morning with additional floor fan. Very friendly and helpful staff.

It’s in need of a refurbish to the rooms, outside was a little unkept especially outside the back rooms. Decking needed to be better maintained along with the grounds around pool. Mattress on bunks need replacing as they were very uncomfortable rolling into the middle along with the pillows. Curtains very old and dirty. No nearby supermarket, bus timetable limited.
