Toilets and showers could do with modernising a bit

Great location, comfortable and friendly and well equipped with everything we needed including drying room after our soggy walk!

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen

Good value - relatively cheap room which provided comfort and key basic facilities during our coast to coast hike. Friendly, helpful personel. Friendly, holiday atmostphere in the bar/eating area.

The room was very hot. The bed lights are very bright and wake up other people in the room if used during the night.

Beautiful location in riverside setting and well laid out with spaces for eating relaxing and quieter areas for bedrooms and lovely outside garden space by the river

£150 is a lot to pay for a room for two in a hostel

All the team were really nice, the girl who checked us in was helpful and friendly. Big kudos to the guy on reception with long hair who was dealing with an awkward customer when we were checking in, he had the patience of a saint. Shout out to the Scottish chef too who had loads of food checks on but was still smiley. The room was comfortable and way more spacious than I expected. Bathroom facilities were plentiful and clean.

Could be more tables and chairs in the dining area, breakfast was busy!
