Felt like I could come and go whenever. Perfect accommodation for someone looking to extend the Shinami kaido cycling route!

I’m a side sleeper so futons aren’t the most comfortable for me. Make it more obvious that you don’t provide towels. I can definitely see someone not bringing one!

Petite maison charmante, le propriétaire très gentil, les équipements sont niquels et foncitonnels, parfait pour une retraite dans les petites îles.

L’accueil chaleureux, sans aucune démarche numérique (enfin une personne, charmante en plus). Dans cette île jolie, avec des commerces et des restaurants. Et surtout une maison japonaise traditionnelle bien agreable.

It's one of the best guesthouses I have stayed at. It is a traditional Japanese house renovated thoughtfully. I wish I had stayed longer.

Not related to the accommodation itself, but it is quite difficult to figure out the ferry to the island as the ferry from Habu that was labeled as "Yuge" did not actually go there and I had to cycle from Ikina. Also the ferries do not seem to run often. Despite this it was totally worth it coming to this island and it was a real highlight on the Shimanami kaido.
