Losmanos Hostel

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in! The location is great, close to the main attractions of the city and in an area with many restaurants, bars, etc. and the room is spacious and confortable. But the best part is the great vibe from the moment you arrive! The guys are so friendly and always go the extra mile to make you feel at home and create a nice community feeling with the other guests. If you want a great souvenir from your trip: get a tattoo whilst you are there! I did and I’m so happy with the result :D

There is literally nothing I didn't like, it is the perfect hostel for every solo traveler!!

not much, left the almost as soon as we got there and booked another hostel.

looks nothing like the photos, feels grimy and gross, you leave with a film of filth on you. the pool is brown and I would never in a million years enter. millions of mosquitoes around; which makes sense because the hostel is essentially a run down building on a mud block. felt incredibly unwelcoming and yuck. floors inside room were filthy and there were hairs/stains all over the beds. literally nothing like the photos. i’m not even that fussy and I couldn’t even bring myself to stay the night it was so depressing and unclean.

really nice vibes, the people working there are super helpful and gave me the best recommendations. the best place so far to experience the city and hang out with locals and travellers since there are all kind of different fun activities in the evening like going the a bar or having a chill movie night. but the best was going to the beach together to make a bonfire and grill marshmallows - you should definitely ask them to do that while you're there!! once we made a cute barbecue or just played some of the mini games they have there. anyways it's also a good place to relax and recharge your energy :) I'll come back for sure and get another tattoo in their own tattoo studio in the hostel
