If you are considering booking on this hostel, please just go for it. Just to clarify, more than a hostel, this is a traditional Japanese guesthouse run by Mikiko (the owner/hostess) she is just super nice, she speaks good english and made us feel welcome and like at home as soon as we arrived. The room was super cosy, the tatamis were ridiculously comfortable , and although the shower and the toilet are shared with the rest, those were immaculate throughout our stay. Not to mention we got to see the Mount Fuji from our window in the room! The stairs can be a bit tricky to navigate so if you have limited mobility , this is something you should consider. Also theres a fridge you can store your food and free coffee and tea is offered. Deffo, on my two weeks trip to Japan this is the best place I have been. If I ever come back to Fujiyoshida , I will definitely book this place again. I definitely recommend this place :)

"Perfetto, ci tornerei"

La signora veramente tanto gentile, la camera e la zona comune dei bagni tenute molto molto pulite. Ci ha offerto del buon tè caldo e c’erano tutti i servizi che servono: asciugamani, saponi, phon. Calda e accogliente la camera e una bella doccia grande. Una casa molto autentica, è stato davvero bello soggiornare qui. Anche la posizione comoda per la zona e per i vari spostamenti. Direi Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.
