Agosto Taman Negara Hostel

L'hôte, Anne, est incroyablement gentille et s'est très bien occupée de nous. L'hostel est très bien placé dans le village.

Ann est vraiment une deuxième maman pour vous : elle est super attentionnée, toujours de bonne humeur et serviable, et elle s’inquiète toujours pour vous. J’ai vraiment adoré l’endroit, super calme, très propre et bien situé. Je vous le recommande fortement si vous voyagez solo ou à deux, pour l’hospitalité de Ann qui est vraiment le point fort de ce logement. (Son chat est trop mignon 🥹)

I had an amazing stay here and all because of the owner Ann. She made my stay so special, really caring about my experience and helping with everything! I met lots of lovely other travellers and she took care of us all. You can book the tours through her and she knows all the local guides. I will miss you Ann, thank you!

Had a really nice stay. Ann the owner is very helpful and kind, she was my surrogate mother for the time being haha. Also the hostel is a good place to socialize pretty much everyone comes there for the jungle tour, so you can meet people to do it with. I recommend booking the tour with Ann, she arranged everything right away.

Good air conditioning at night, plus fans for the daytime. Location off the main road so quiet but minutes to the jetty or the center of town. Ann is a lovely host, very friendly, helpful and relaxed, and she speaks excellent English.

A bit pricey for a dorm bed but relatively good for Kuala Tahan, where lodging is more expensive in general. Only one small bathroom/shower: This wasn’t a problem for me but it could be if more people were staying there.

En voyant les commentaires sur Google Maps, je suis arrivée un peu à reculons, ne sachant pas trop quoi penser au vue des avis divergents. Mais aujourd’hui je peux vous dire qu’Ann est une personne exceptionnellement gentille et bienveillante. Elle peut paraître un peu infantilisante, mais ce n’est que de la pure bienveillance. Elle va vous proposer tous ces services qui sont payants (location de serviette après le trek, laundry etc, ce qui peut paraître un peu insistant, mais sachez que ce n’est QUE pour vous rendre service et pas pour l’argent. C’est un amour. N’hésitez pas, foncez.

Le prix est un peu élevé mais c’est partout pareil à Taman Negara. Il y a également des fourmis, mais c’est inévitable car nous sommes dans la nature ! Comme le précise Ann, ce n’est pas un resort mais un petit hébergement familial et chaleureux :)
