The Madison House

The room was small. There was no communication about the contact less check in process ahead of time. When I got there, it was difficult to get in touch and get into room, which was resolved. However, the on site contact could not be reached by phone at all.

Was decently clean, no mildew - clean sheets and space.

Clean kitchen and bathroom areas, kitchen looked like it was well supplied with new appliances. Communication was thorough and set expectations pretty well.

Any movement upstairs was quite loud, the room felt small for the price, and it wasn't immediately clear to me if the bedsheets were fresh when I arrived because they were a bit wrinkled, blanket not smoothed over - I think they were clean though.

The price was excellent. The obstructions they provided worked perfectly. It’s easy to reach downtown with public transit.

No staff contact at all. The room has everything you need, but that’s it. No homey feeling – although the house itself is nice. The rules they send you when you book (3 long messages!!!!) make you feel like you’re gonna end up with a rough crowd.
