Camar Cottage & Hostel

Spacious rooms. Host is very friendly and helpful and available on whatsapp. They offer different services, eg laundry, scooter rental, tours etc. Overall, the place itself looks very nice.

Distance is far from the main street and you definitely need a scooter to get around. Road is not the best, it’s narrow and not in the best condition. Wifi is unstable. There is no-one in the reception during the evenings so when you need help, you’ll get it in the morning. I had a few cockroaches in my room which were taken care of the next day. As the rooms have huge paintings on the wall, the cockroaches and geckos use these for hiding. As there were no nets above the bed, it was tricky to fall asleep when hearing noises and thumps behind the paintings. Due to space under the front door, bugs get in quite easily.

The place itself is cozy. There's a nice restaurant 15 min walk, you can have taxis from the hostel. There are 2 bathrooms by room.

No hot water. A bit far into the woods, the road is pretty bad. The breakfast is a bit light.

The hostel is super cute and beautiful. The shared room is big, with closets for each guest. The beds are comfy and have curtains. The bathrooms are perfectly clean. The staff is absolutely friendly and helps with every question. It was also great to see some people with disabilities working in the hostel—genuinely inclusive

This is an incredible hostel where you could not wish for more. The rooms are clean and in excellent condition. But the best about this place are the kind and absolutely customer oriented owners. Come here you wont regret it
