I had the room next to the terrace which I really enjoyed! The owners were very nice and paid attention to be quite after 10pm so you get your sleep! The breakfast was very good especially with the joy of the view above Oaxaca. I really liked the idea of getting a 4 page PDF document with all tips where to eat, what to do (by your own and not with overpriced tour companies)... Definitely recommended!!!

The location is just a LITTLE off (but not much) - if you come back late by yourself you better take a taxi

We had a great time in Oaxaca. Casa el Mundo helped us make the most of our time here by providing helpful tipps for exploring the City. The room was super clean and spacious. The bathroom was great too. We spent our evenings on the roof top, drinking beer and petting their dog + cat. Very nice!

A classic backpacker's hostel with nice staff, lots of activities and a OK kitchen. They include a small breakfast, which is kind of them.

We stayed at Casa El Mundo for 4 nights and were happy to have stayed at this hotel. It is near to the city center and has everything you need near by. The rooms were like in the pictures, very clean and colorful. We loved to chill at the great roof terrace, they have a bar also (with their own mezcal!!). Wifi always worked well on every level. The owners were super friendly and endlessly helpful, they went out of their way when we had troubles with our trip. They also operate socialy and environmentaly responsible. 100% would recommend

Quite noisy in the morning, because of the traffic in the street.
