La Guaca Hostel Santa Marta

I stayed here twice mostly as a before buffer and after The Lost City trek. All the staff (Natalia, Isa and Sofia) were very kind, helpful and prepared to provide any information (regarding tours, etc). I stayed in a private room which was very comfortable, the sheets smelled nice and the AC was great. The breakfast in the morning was very nice too and you had the choice out of 2 options. It's about a 15 minute walk from the centre, but this makes the place calm to rest. There was a shared area with hammocks and a pool.

There was a miscommunication at some point during my stay due to staff changing, which resulted in me booking and paying for an additional night, which wasn't clear until I checked out. Nevertheless, the staff was very kind, patient and worked with me to find a solution and provided a refund in the end.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the hammock chill area. The room was a good size and comfortable. Good laundry service. Breakfast was good - would have been nice to have had the option of a plant based milk.

The kitchen was under equipped - not enough cutlery or pans etc. swimming pool was underwhelming.

Desayuno espectacular, la atención del personal es 10/10 te sientes como en casa y te ayudan mucho, las camas súper cómodas y no se siente ruido en el hostal.

La piscina nunca se pudo usar por falta de limpieza y es un poco pequeña

El desayuno 10/10 cambiaria el pan por una arepitas pero aja ya mucho pedir para el precio que dan, la atencion de las chicas de recepcion es muy buena.

Os funcionários são muito amáveis. A hospedagem é confortável.
