Symphatisches Hostal, zentral gelegen und doch ruhig; sehr freundliches Personal; sauber, geräumig, komme gerne wieder

The host, Amor, is the nicest and loveliest woman ever. She helps you with everything and really cares about her costumers.

This is an exceptional hostel. I wish they were all over SE Asia. They know exactly what a hostel should have. It's a 15 minute walk from the pier and nearby all the restaurants. The hostel is very clean and comfortable. There is a communal space at the front where they serve breakfast. The hostel is made up of two rooms with four beds in each. The beds are soooo comfortable and they've really thought about everything for travellers including individual lights and sockets. The Aircon is brilliant and they have a dehumidifier (which everywhere should have!). The shower and toilet space is kept very clean as well. The thing that makes this hostel outstanding is the service. We were travelling from Huay Xai to Chiang Rai the next day and they helped us book it all for a great price. I cannot recommend this more. You get picked up from the hostel, driven to the Laos passport control, they will help you through and give you a ticket for the bus to cross the border. Arriving at the Thai border you go through passport control and then are greeted by your driver. It's very smooth. You can even get to Chiang Mai if you want.

Ein absolutes Highlight meiner Reise: Ich kam früh am Morgen in diesem kleinen familiären Hostel an. Es hat nur 8 Betten in zwei Dorms. Man bekommt ein leckeres Frühstück und kleinere Gerichte, total liebevoll gemacht, zB das Lunchpaket mit persönlicher Nachricht. Die Frau von der Rezpetion hat nicht nur dafür gesorgt, dass ich morgens schon ins Zimmer und Schlaf nachholen konnte, sie hat auch Plätze ganz vorne im Slowboat besorgt und den Transport zum Pier. Es war ein wertschätzender Umgang und sie hat sich Zeit genommen für ein Gespräch. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt, vor allem nach dem border crossing.

Fijn verblijf gehad hier, Amor dacht overal in mee en wist goede tips te geven. Ontbijt en to-go lunch zijn heerlijk!

Super nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und alles war sehr sauber, auch das Frühstück und die Sandwiches für die Slow Boat Tour waren sehr gut. Bisher unsere Lieblingsunterkunft in Laos!
