Rats running across ceiling with rat urine and poop coming through the lining no bottled water available. Advertised with pay for breakfast but none available. Was told to buy food when we get to airport. Advertising stated airport shuttle. No does not exist. Had to arrange a taxi. Paper thin bamboo ratten walls. Staff of other people smoking and talking with smell coming into my room. Room is right next to main road. Hours and hours of not being able to sleep for the sounds of hundreds of loud exhaust scooters and trucks. Worst stay I have had any where in the world.

The owner and the staff are amazing. The owner took us to a traditional village and a waterfall. He is engaged in a organix farm project and has a lot of informations to share. It was great!

Our room was pretty close to the street and so we got quite some noise. In the night it was ok

Clean, bed was comfy, close to airport and good price. Perfect for a short trip in between travel!

Very very basic hostel, but right next to the airport and the kid gave me a lift there on his scooter. One shared toilet/shower for the whole hotel. No running water when I was there. Airco is fine and no mosquitoes inside. No food available on site, but you can make your own tea/coffee. 500m walk to the nearest warung- a very humble one at that - along a very busy road. Plenty of cheap cafes for breakfast immediately outside the airport terminal building. Street outside the hostel is quite busy & noisy. Unless you have a very early flight, or very little money, find somewhere proper in Gunungsitoli

It was close to the airport

I thought that a superior room would have the bathroom off the bedroom - but it was down 5 steep steps and across a piece of wood across a goldfish pond …..

This hostel is right next to the airport on nias, and around 20 minutes drive to gunungsitoli, so it's a good place to stay for the night if you are just arriving or departing from the island. The rooms are capsule type beds which are pretty comfortable. The staff is very nice, and helpful, although they couldn't speak a lot of English, but it was enough. Overall, a nice place for a stopover before your next journey. They also have a turtle conservation program which I really liked about the place.

Staff super helpful. Great accommodation and help with getting food. 5 mins drive from airport. We arrived at 12.00 and asked the owner what we could do in the afternoon. Within an hour we were trekking to remote farm, eating freshly caught fish, visiting traditional village houses and swimming under a waterfall. The guide was excellent.
