I went to Longyearbyen for activities related to the University. The accommodation is really close to the university entrance and the museum (just a 5–10 minute walk). Moreover, there’s also a bus stop in front of the university with connections to the airport — extremely convenient! The staff are really kind and helpful in every situation. There’s a small grocery (and souvenir) shop that was very useful to me, because since I arrived on Saturday evening, the supermarket in Longyearbyen was closed on Sunday and only open for a few hours in the afternoon. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to be self-sufficient for a few days, and the rooms are very spacious and quiet. If I ever need to return to Longyearbyen, I will definitely stay at this place again.

Ich wurde freundlich empfangen, mein Zimmer war perfekt vorbereitet und mir wurden alle Informationen gegeben. Alles war sehr sauber, ordentlich und ruhig. Personal war immer anwesend und sehr hilfsbereit. In der Küche gab es so gut wie alles was man brauchte - das einzige was gefehlt hat war ein Kartoffelschäler. Es fühlte sich wie zuhause an. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt.
