Laughing Leopard Hostel

I loved the beautiful design and cozy atmosphere of the hotel it made the stay feel special.

The hotel was lovely, but the lack of hot water in the bathroom was a downside.

It was great staying at Laughing Leopard esp if you are a solo traveler coz you will meet a lot of people. I really didnt have the chance to go with them because i went on my own to the tea plantations and waterfall by scooter and the rest of the time i was either working or sleeping. It has really good vibes. The family dinner (veggie curry) was so delicious!! Staff were great! They were friendly and helpful. I also appreciated that I rented a good scooter. There was no issue with it so my drive around Nuwara Eliya was enjoyable.

The only thing i wanna mention was one staff shouted at me around 2 other guests which i was caught off guard. I thought he was joking and then continued to shout because he said i was putting him in trouble. He felt bad after and called my phone and apologized. So it was all good. I just didn't expect that and i even felt embarrassed in front of the 2 other guests but i just let it go. I didnt respond the same way. It was just not nice to do that esp because i was a guest and i wasnt a friend or a common person working there for me to be treated that way. But then my stay was still great overall.

The hostel has good vibes; very helpful staff; met a lot of other solo travelers and played some games after dinner which was fun They also have the cutest dogs

The atmosphere and the staff are really nice and relaxed. It’s a place to socialize and connect to other tourists. The family dinner was really delicious too.
