ZAWe were met by Katrin upon arrival who was super flexible! We were shown to our room which was a basic twin room and shown around the communal facilities. The Owlhouse Backpackers had everything we might need. Katrin invited us to have breakfast across the road which was beautiful, home cooked by her husband and a good continental spread. The property was super close (walking distance) to see everything in Nieu Bethesda and Katrin was able to provide recommendations. Katrin also arranged dinner for us despite our late arrival at a local eatery.
The rooms are basic, which we were expecting. If you are looking for luxury, the Owlhouse Backpackers may not be for you but it was perfect for an overnight stay to lay our heads before sightseeing the following day.
ZAThe town is magical. The backpacker was clean, the facilities were really nice.
