Saltycrax Backpackers and Surf Hostel

Post what we experienced, nothing.

Firstly, we paid for a LUXURY DOUBLE ROOM. We were placed in a small stuffy room. Most disgusting, the mattresses were infested with mites!!! This is beyond the SOP in terms of hygiene. Furthermore, as a facility hosting guests, surely you have policies in place; quiet time generally starts at 10pm. Evidently it's down to poor management or just a sheer lack of regard by the fact that guests need their rest. For your facility to allow carte Blanche, permitting partying to continue until way after midnight exemplifies that you have zero respect for your guests! All-inclusive, APPALLING.

Can be a bit noisy but it is a backpackers so to be expected

Friendly check in, nice atmosphere. I was alone and felt very safe.

My room.was a bit warm

The staff was very friendly and made me feel right at home .
