Great kitchen facilities and awesome value for money. The common room is comfortable and very cool to look at. The converted part of the building is more janky, but serviceable and our bed linen, room and bathroom on were clean.

Location and old church architecture used.

Very old bed, sheets, and plumbing

Located in centre of K. Stephen so ideally placed for a number of long distance walking paths. Beautiful building - old converted chapel. Large communal area - nice to meet up with fellow travellers. Kitchen well equipped. Our 4 bedded bunkroom had a very welcome en suite bathroom and efficient wall heater so nice and cosy.. Excellent drying room- our soaking wet clothes were perfectly dry overnight. I didnt see any staff during my one night stay but they helpfully responded to phone calls and answered messages . Would def stay again.

The room was a little short on space. Very little room for manouvre with 4 people and 4 small rucksacks . Some hooks on wall would be a useful addition but these are minor points!

Great location and cost. Cooking facilities and en suite with the dorm was very good. Great being in a converted church.

A bit chilly in the dining area (large space) but ok either way a blanket

It was a hostel- so we didn’t expect much, but it was a tricky place to stay. The room was tiny with 4 of us sharing. The beds were rickety and we worried they would collapse, and the mattresses were thin and old. Pillows lumpy. It was cold, but the heater worked well to warm us up. Showers were good. The communal area was good, but the place was no where near good enough for the money.

Beds were uncomfortable and almost unsafe, if we had been bigger it would have been really tricky to get into and out of them, and they creaked and shook when you moved. Room was too small. Place was cold. Just not a great atmosphere- apart from the people we met. The lady looking after it was lovely.
