I had to go though another room in order to get into my room, there was no lock on the door, I was told i need to go buy a padlock, I mean why would i do that for 1 night stay, i was also told, i need to pay for a key for the front door, this was never portrayed anywhwere or told to me before for a heads up. When i got toi the gate there was no bell, no one answered their phones, i was outside for about 30mins trying to get hold of anyone, and they new i was coming. I didnt end up staying there as i was uncomfortable.

The staff are great (particularly Ronnie) who is very accommodating and the Wi-Fi is good too.

None of the toilets have locks on the doors for some reason. Also there are no power sockets in the form rooms. The form I stayed in also had two or three private rooms attached to it which meant the people in those had to walk through the dorm room to get to their rooms. This resulted in many people coming through and lots of noise. Finally whilst it isn’t a problem, this seems to be more of a place where locals stay as there were many contractors there when I passed through. So just something to be aware of as you may not meet too many other travelers.

The price and location made it perfect for my need. I could walk anywhere. It is surrounded by wonderful pubs and restaurants. It was also fun to connect with the other gypsy travellers.

It was not as clean as it could be. The entrance looked scary. Trash in the pot plants. It need more than a lick of paint and thicker wooden walls. The linen also needs a update. But for the price it is more than acceptable. Don't expect a three or even two star guest house It's got bunk beds and flimsy wooden walls. It's a backpackers in a great location.
