Hostal Familiar Rolo

Super locatie aan het strand, hele relaxte jonge personeel (surfer volk), prima gratis onbeperkte ochtendkoffie, alle faciliteiten makkelijk bereikbaar en een gezellig zitje voor je eigen deur. Helemaal top voor 2 a 3 dagen, gecombineerd met activiteiten. Alles te boeken vanuit het hotel, zeker goed geregeld en de prijzen zijn overal exact hetzelfde. Verzamelen voor de activiteiten ook voor de deur. Eten en drink mogelijkheden volop in de buurt, alles 5 min. Fantastische locatie, aanrader.....

Als er toch een minpuntje genoemd moet worden; er is geen zwembadje als je het strand even wilt pauzeren.

Me gustó todo! Era mi 3ra vez en Santa Catalina y la primera vez que me quedaba aquí, lo que más me gustó fue la ubicación, es directamente de donde salen los botes a coiba así que se evita el tener que usar carro. El personal siempre fue muy atento y amable! Además de que las habitaciones estaban super limpias y muy cómodas. En mi 4ta vez, de seguro me volveré a hospedar aquí!

Le personnel était très accueillant et aidant. On s'est senti chez nous et on a pu cuisiner notre déjeuner et profiter des lieux paisiblement, tout était parfait. La plage de l'ile de Santa Catalina était magnifique

Locatie is top. Dicht bij het centrum en aan het strand. Familie is heel behulpzaam.

Ieder zijn voorkeur natuurlijk, maar de kussens zijn heel dik. Wij hadden last van ons nek in de ochtend.

Everything. We had the little house with the ocean view and we spent the best time of our holiday. The vibes and the staff were just amazing.

All good, nothing bad

My father and I spent two nights at the Hostel Familiar Rolo and stayed in the cabin on the bluff. The location of the hostel is perfect and convenient to many excellent restaurants nearby, but also has a kitchen if you choose to cook your own meals at the hostel including fridge space. The hosts, Orlando and Amir made everything from checking in, to booking a snorkeling excursion very easy to do. They always welcomed us when we returned to the hostel and seemed to be genuinely pleased we were enjoying the area. The grounds were always clean, the room spotless and they had surf boards, body boards and kayaks for rent onsite. The free coffee in the morning was a great perk (pun intended). The only issue we had was of my own fault. I forgot to check the safe before we left and drove 6 hours to Panama City. As soon as I realized it, I contacted Amir through WhatsApp and he helped arrange transport of it to Panama City the next morning. Absolutely above and beyond! I highly recommend staying at Hostel Familia Rolo if you're spending even one night in Santa Catalina.
