Excellent wifi in the room. Breakfast as usual. Very quiet place, not far from the pier. Nice garden.

I only stayed one night as my plane arrived at 8:30 pm. "Deluxe" room : this word is a non-sense ! For 33 € I would have expected more ! But we are in the Phlilippines where "value for money" is an unknown expression. The room is located at the ground floor similar to a basement. All windows are with capiz shell, I didn't try to open one. Smallish room with a four poster bed and a mosquito net but this is just for decoration as the top is missing : not a problem as there were no mosquitoes during my stay. Shower : I couldn't manage to mix hot with cold water, therefore either it was boiling or cold. Absolutely awful mattress : very soft but more likely worn out : I kept on rolling to the center hole. Tiny and almost invisible little ants in the bed but as I was tired, this didn't disturb me too much. If you want to save 500 pesos or even more, the Sun Avenue Pension is a far better choice : they are not in Booking but rooms are huge and very clean (968.8684770).

- the house is a tourist attraction in itself, a building with a lot of history and old charm - the staff are friendly, helpful with directions, and prepre tasty breakfasts

- it is not very clean. There were quite a few spiderwebs in my room and also a cockroach (which the staff took care of when I asked) - the neighbors are quite loud until late in the evening with music/events/speakers - as in many areas of Bohol, people burn the weeds, so there is a lot of smoke and poor air quality

Great location in the middle of Tagbilaran city inside a beautiful old building on a pretty idilic property. Staff and team is great and full of information to help you enjoy the island.

The staff were very lovely! So helpful and very warm. The guesthouse was steeped in history and it had a cute charm about it. It is also super close (15 min walk) to the port which was very convenient for me.

The walls were very thin (timber construction) so the noise outside was hard to escape. A loud next door neighbour singing karaoke until late and barking dogs. The ceiling fan in the dorm room wasn’t terribly effective either, but the receptionist kindly provided me with an extra plug in fan which helped a bit. I didn’t sleep well at all though.

Excellent place to stay. A beautiful heritage home and a passion project of Gloria and her family. Lots of character, and a nice homely ambience. Highly recommend.

The location is great, and the price is good.

The wooden sliding door needs a little bit of fixing. It is quite hard to open/close.

Staff were nice

Full of mosquitos and bugs. Shared toilet wasn't nice. The building was old and the room looked awful. Better value places nearby.

Lovely old house, the owner was very sweet, staff were lovely and happy, singing and smiling!

It was perfect -Needed a kettle outside the kitchen so I could boil my own water!😜
