Hostal Tres Central

The rooms very clean, decent common spaces, including a terrace and a small kitchen. We also booked a tour through the hostel, which was cheaper that other options online and was very enjoyable. The staff in general were friendly and answered our questions. The location is probably the main benefit as it is located very close to the main square of the city.

There was some noise heard from the street in the early morning hours, due to it's central location.

The location is perfect to see the city center or walk to get a colectivo to visit the Copoya Cross. The tour's can pick you up there. It was very clean. The bed and pillow were confy. Working fan and air conditioning. Very friendly and helpful staff. The lockers are big enough for your luggage.

I would love to have curtains surrounding each bed for privacy purposes, even though I booked knowing there were none.

Good location, right near the center plaza; great staff; nice terrace. Air conditioning was very nice to have and shower had hot water.

Facilities can feel quite stuffy (ie: the rooms are small, not much light, low ceilings, and generally theres less open space than other hostels). WiFi somewhat reliable. Overall Tuxtla doesn’t have the array of hostels that nearby cities like San Cristobal do. So relative to competition in Tuxtla I’d say this is very fair value and I’d stay here again.

Everything was really good, we were only two in the room, very quite except on the sunday morning when there was a race in the city center, the only drawback of its location. The rest is good.

the only thing is that the toilet was not in the room and the wifi quite bad.
