Zeneidas Surf Garden

El hostal 10/10 la ubicación y las instalaciones maravillosas. Contar con bajada directa a la playa y espacios comunes cómodos me encantó. Los baños limpios también hace la diferencia..

El único punto en contra es que mi habitación compartida no tenía aire acondicionado, solamente contaba con un ventilador de techo. Es algo que realmente deberían mejorar, porque el valor en la noche de hace sentir. .

Near to beach, and nice kitchen area.

We couldn't sleep in our whole stay. Hostel has five dogs and the dogs were barking almost through every night and also there were noise from people/music in late evening. More over room was smelling of very strong mold. Unfortunately not worth of the price, you get more better villas with same price. Basicly only good thing was the location.

Excelente ubicación, tiene salida a la playa. Es súper cómodo. Gente muy copada

Having an own cabbin near the beach

This was a great hostel, you should definitely stay here! Good value. Beachfront, walkable to all of Santa Teresa, friendly people and staff. Mostly a young crowd. Zeneidas is tucked away from the hustle and one of the only places on the beachfront side. Monkeys and puppies lounging near the hostel and cool birds right outside your door. Many different spaces to rest and take a break from the sun. The yoga is 3x/day with amazing teachers (loved Juli) and you just pay $10 usd at the desk 5 mins before - great yoga. And there's a communal guitar! In today's world we read a lot of reviews.. and I saw some complaints about a busy road near the yoga deck, but ST is basically one street, so of course you can hear the road.. and its part of your practice to stay focusses on the yoga! Not an issue. There was reviews about the bathrooms and kitchens being gross... and I totally disagree. The cleaners were hard workers and kept the place very tidy. Its a shared space, so you have to clean up after yourself - sometimes others if its bothering you but that's living in community... Also, the outdoor bathrooms were cool and may have some bugs in them but that's because you are their habitat? Any complain that I read was not relevant once I got there.....most of Costa Rica didn't have hot water in my experience which is fine because its SO hot.... And toilet paper always goes in the bin in Central/South America.

I have no complaints... I was sad to leave this hostel. Bring ear plugs - ST has an upbeat but still mellow night life until around 11pm. Our room was near the entrance so we could hear people coming home, but it's a shared space. People were having their fun and we had earplugs, so I really didn't mind.
