Hostal Casa de Barajas

Directly near de Fort, Getsemani only 4 minutes . 2 big shopping malls around the corner. People here are extremely nice, rooms spotless, common area still in sort of construction. WiFi excellent! Air-conditioning excellent! Laundry service excellent! Outstanding room and spacious with view of the fort. They undersell themselves, the location had way more than the put on booking. Highly recommended.

Bit hard to find, but it's the white building next (right) to the house with the wooden balconies.

Owner was extremely nice and helped us with everything we needed, the room was large and clean with a lot of storage space, and the location was very good- a few minutes walk from a mall, castle of San Felipe and about 10 minutes away from the old city. A quiet, comfortable and safe place, recommended :)

the room was fine and it was not expensive

the staff was very rude and when we wanted to check out early to catch our boat to the islands the door would not open. It took 45 minutes before it was opened with the help of a passerby

Owners seemed nice. It was clean and I had a good night’s sleep.

This was more basic that even cheaper hostels I have stayed in in Colombia (no natural light in the room and not even a hand towel or drinking water). There is a complicated, old fashioned locking system which makes it hard to come and go.

Getsemani reachable in 10 min walk. Friendly owners.

Comfy beds, location is just outside of Getsemani but not a fair walk. Great view of the castle from our room. Very friendly owner
