Loved location and grounds. Great food and great beer. Free parking. Great location for walk. Games room. En-suite with rooms was great Geordie guy ( general manager) super friendly and helpful

Only a couple of things / chocolate vending machine didn't accept contactless transactions which was annoying when we got back at 2 am needing some chocolate ! Also couldn't get much power from the shower unless it was piping hot! But we got by!

Cool building with nice grounds around it. Removed from the downtown, which makes it peaceful and with a bus stop right out front that takes you there in no time. Games room, nice lounge and a bar with food and drinks throughout the day. Outlets and personal lights by the beds. And some rooms have sinks in them which is nice.

Your stay will vary but when I was there there was a youth rugby team that was pretty noisy, and any heavy footsteps can be heard throughout most of the building. If you get overstimulated it could be hard to find a quiet spot inside, but outside is quite peaceful. Earplugs are a good idea and they have some available. It’s an old building too so not much they can do there. They have a spot to fill up water bottles that is filtered but there was scale and moss on it, looked like it wasn’t cleaned often though the water from it was alright. There aren’t enough lockers for the amount of beds in each room so it’s first come first serve. 4 lockers to 6 beds for both the rooms I was in.

Clean 6 bed room for our family in a nice town in the country near Stratford upon Avon. Helpful staff and meals available. Had a good dinner at the Ferry pub in Alveston. Good value for money.

An ensuite bathroom would have been good but didn’t have to wait to use shared facilities snd basin in our room was helpful
