Blue Moon Guesthouse is a wonderful, friendly, clean, location with incredible owner/operators Marilyn & Robert. We were able to easily drive our scooters to Nagtabon & Talaudyong beaches. The food (breakfast and oven perfected pizza) are fabulous! The plunge pool, plenty of shade areas, variety of rooms to rent, secure parking, complimentary coffee & drinking water are all aspects we valued, awesome Starlink wifi too.

The staff are amazing. They are wonderful along with an awesome support staff that have created a great guesthouse. A decent menu with home-cooked food or pizzas for breakfast/dinner. Water and coffee all free. I thought the place was clean. The rooms were. The other areas will pick up jungle dust and what not, but it's really not that bad at all.

Look, at the end of the day, you're on the precipice of a jungle. It's noisy. The geckos especially. If you don't know how to ride a moped/motorcycle, it's not the spot for you. The roads are steep and windy, the dogs (and if you know the Philippines) can be a problem and I felt so bad asking the owner to drop me off down there. He was a gentleman and a saint to do so and gave me an awesome experience experiencing the pristine/sparsely visited beach with a wonderful sunset. Stunning. But he shouldn't have to do that, he's not a taxi driver, he's the owner. I thank him for it.

Blue Moon had covered parking for our scooters, there are several sitting areas throughout the common area to enjoy and login to their great wifi. The rooms & bathrooms/showers are clean. Marilyn cooks delicious food onsite and they offer cold drinks. Complimentary water to fill our bottles & complimentary coffee/tea available at a self-serve station. Blue Moon is located just outside of a little village and not far from Nagtabon beach. Richard & Marilyn were excellent hosts. We felt safe & welcomed.

Amazing people. Family run and had a relaxed atmosphere with great home cooked food. So nice and quiet at night, we slept very well! Always helpful with any questions we had about the local area. Motorbikes for rent which used to go to the stunning beach only a few minutes away.

Fantastic place in an excellent location!Robert and his wife are super nice and they have good food and it is a nice atmosphere in the hotel.You can also rent a motorbike at the hotel and explore the area yourself,and see all the nice beaches in the area or go into Puerto Princesa for a trip whenever you want.

I love that its very near Nagtabon Beach because we go on surfing during our visit. We stayed in a fan kubo with own tables and sitting area built-in giving us privacy to lounge just outside our bedroom, we ate here and cook our meal as well. Our accommodation has a shared toilet and bath just a 10 steps away and its always clean. The host Robert and Marilyn are very accommodating, making sure they provided with assistance and our needs. Also, there’s three cats and dogs that roam around and are very friendly! Loving their pizza as well!!! So fun eating at their common area. The place is really superb

Pump that ran during the night causing noise. Not sanitized mattresses. After one night I had boils in many parts of my body. Wifi only in common areas

Nice an cozy outdoor area, pool table, the owner was was kind and accommodating as she helped us organise the transport from/to the city; the beach nearby

The lock on our hut was broken, so couldn’t lock the doors; the toilet bins could be cleared more often; owners husband constantly complaining about tourists and having a bit of an attitude when overwhelmed that needs to serve 4 people; the guesthouse is located 45min drive from Puerto Princesa city

At least my room was but really clean, lots of mosquitos and really a lot of dust everywhere. When showering it took 30 minutes for the water to disappear
