Cowboy Hostel - Habitaciones con Baño Privado

The main positive of this property is the kitchen - it was really decent. The bed was pretty comfy too. Hot water available. Wifi worked pretty well.

That's about as good as it got for us. The room itself was fine, albeit pretty small. A wardrobe of sorts if offered, but with no coat hangers, so ends up being a pointless waste of space. Zero sound proofing, you could hear every car on the street like it was inside the room. Worst of all was incorrect pricing for a tour that the staff pushed on us SO hard. We agreed to book with them, only to find out the price had increased when we paid for it at the the venue. The trip itself was great and essentially nothing to do with this hotel at all, but the property were so keen on us booking with one company, we felt very let down. I told the staff at the hotel, they didn't care. It wasn't handled well at all, and left a bitter taste in the mouth. I am certain there are much better options in Monteverde.

A full private room with a bathroom and 3 individual beds for $30 is hard to beat. The place also had a nice shared kitchen and fridge. The staff was very friendly and gave good food recommendations nearby. Felt safe and comfortable during the whole stay, and the place was clean.

Sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Die Eigentümerin war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Küche neu und sauber.

Es war sehr hellhörig (Straße als auch Wind), mit Ohropax aber kein Problem :)
