Mil e Uma Noites

We got canceled flight ant this property helped us to stay over night realy quick. Clean and comfortable. Situated just nearby of the airport.

Excellent clean facilities with everything you need provided, including washing machine. The owners are super nice and look after the hotel very well. Very comfortable bed, living area, and excellent kitchen. Highly recommended. Everywhere in the Azores accomodation is expensive so while the price was maybe high relative to other destinations, relative to other places to stay in Flores and in the Azores the value was very good and the standard of accommodation at Mil e Una Noires was superb. In response to other reviews: It is stated when booking that the bathrooms are shared (2 big bathrooms for 4 rooms) and we found them always very clean, spacious and with everything we needed (soap, shampoo, plenty of fresh towels and bath mats, great facilitie). All rooms were occupied and yet it was never any issue to share - always at least one available.

We were 2 families (9 persons). The apt. Is well equiuiped with all the things we needed . Very clean. The beds were very comfortable. 5 minutes walking from the airport, but not noisy. 5 minutes Walk to a beautiful pools on the beach. Pedro , the owner was very kind and helpful .

Our room was very comfortable and the bed was the best we've slept in during our whole time in the Azores. The owner was very nice and communicative and allowed us early check-in. The apartment has been renovated to a high standard and the facilities for washing clothes were greatly appreciated. It is close to the airport but we didn't really hear any noise from it and it was within comfortable walking distance to the swimming area in Santa Cruz.

Perhaps this was our mistake in that we didn't read the listing properly but we were a bit surprised that the room we booked was in a shared apartment with shared bathrooms. This type of accommodation wouldn't usually be for us as we like our privacy but if this is something that wouldn't bother you, then I highly recommend this place!

I had a wonderful stay! The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I was initially unaware that I booked a place with a shared kitchen and bathrooms, but since it was only shared among four rooms, it wasn't an issue. In fact, it was nice to chat with the other travelers. The common areas were impeccably cleaned daily and were absolutely beautiful. I loved the complimentary coffee pods, which made my mornings delightful. Additionally, having access to a washing machine was a fantastic convenience.

If I had to suggest one thing, it would be to have more electricity sockets in the room; an extender would be very helpful. Also, an outside drying rack in the yard would be a nice addition.
