The location is perfect,best view ever Was clean and the person was quick in message on the app Was empty ,I had whole place to myself

No staff,check in was abit complicated as I didn’t get info prior

The staff were really lovely and the view from the hostel was incredible

The cleanliness in the bathroom was less than desirable and the lack of privacy wasn’t the best

Honestly, I liked the place just because of the location vert close yo the Sea and because I was lucky to be alone in the whole apartment and that's what I was looking for.

On the other side It has many negative aspects. First of all it's not a hostel, as it's Just the Power floor of the owners' apartment, there are literally no common areas (and for me It was very important as I work remotely and need to have at least a confortable table) and no staff at all. Second, there we're no sheets! For this price I think it's unaceptable... like a useless plastic sheet on the matress that wouldn't stay put during the night and a light blanket (had to use 2 of them for the seabreeze). The kitchen only has a water boiler and a microwave and the funniest things. And funniest thing: the cleaning lady doesn't actually have a schedule so on the bathroom there's a ban saying "bathroom closed from 10:30 to 13:30", how can you possibly close the only bathroom for costumers for 3 hours lol

During our stay there were little flies everywhere. The floor, beds and everything else was covered with dead ones.

Good WIFI

I wrote this to the owner - Your money driven decision making and your lack of responsibility is abhorrent. I have travelled the world but I can honestly say, that staying in this hostel was the worst experience I have ever had and it was actually only because of meeting two great people and that the WiFi was good that I continued my stay. You are greeted with a Big Brother style camera system - no reception staff. You have bad lighting so people can not see on the outside to enter the property. You have bad lighting on the inside of the property so a wrong turn before the lighting system comes into effect and you would tumble down that ridiculous narrow staircase. The door mechanism to the room is mal functioning, locking people out. You are then greeted with a big brother camera system where I am shouted at to push the door after the code did not open the door. I wrote this to the owner - In disbelief, I am standing there at the bottom of an illegal staircase with all of my luggage, being told to push the door, then to knock the door. You even send me a message the next day asking if I am in the apartment as a guest is locked out. It would be funny if it wasn’t such a bad joke. And I wrote this- Your fly infested dwelling where your adorable cleaning lady tries to spray with fly killer while poisoning us all with pesticide is again a very bad joke. You have an infestation of these insects and the tourist board would close you down upon visit. But interestingly, I did see there was no VV outside not was there anything to say this place was a hostel. Your toilet flush button is broken, it is impossible not to be stabbed in the finger to flush the toilet. The fact you expect 6 people to share and live in this ridiculous space is again laughable. There is two teaspoons, one knife, two tiny sharp knives for cutting bread. No oven, no hob, very bad storage where you are forced to walk around your belongings as there is nowhere else to store your luggage.

Bad treatment of guests. Extremely small and not suitable for six people. Lack of cutlery and crockery - 2 teaspoons, one knife, two small sharp knives. 3 glasses. No cooking facilities except a kettle and a microwave. No oven or hob. No space to put your things Location is awful if you do not have a car. Don’t waste your 60€ getting a taxi here. Buses are great but you have to walk 2 kms to get to the nearest stop. No reception - just a big brother style camera system that shouts instructions if you can’t open the door. The door opening system malfunctions locking you out of the room. If no-one is inside the room, you have to wait 45 mins for maintenance. Small sleeping area and not at all private with a ripped curtain to keep your privacy. Small blanket that does not give you any warmth. A small towel for the shower - only big enough for your head. Flies everywhere on the walls and above where you sleep. And to add, there was a Drunken guest with mental issues. He threatened the guests and urinated on the floor. The owner did not come to protect the other guests, clean up the urine nor did the police arrive. We felt very let-down and were treated with disrespect as though our fears, views, concerns did not matter. In summary, there are better hostels that deserve your euros than this place. Avoid.

Next to the sea The WIFI

The treatment of the guests is really, really bad. All I can say is, don’t go there. There are much better hostels and accommodation in Tenerife for the same money where the location is far better and you are treated with respect. You can sleep soundly elsewhere with a warm cover and without the fear of flies biting you at night. You need a car here… without it… you are really stuck in the middle of nowhere. This is not beautiful Tenerife. Avoid

Nice location

We came quite late (we checked earlier that this was ok) to check in to a shared room, and we couldn’t enter even though we followed the instructions. The host texted me that the other guests locked it from inside, and that we should knock very loudly on the door. We woke up two men who were very upset and yelled very aggressively for a bit. Then we saw the property had many insects in the bed and cockroaches. I contacted the host again and they didn’t respond. We slept on the beach because we didn’t have another option. We borrowed their throws and returned them in the morning.

Flies and cockroaches everywhere. Dead flies in the bed when I arrived. Not very clean in general
